CHINARAMIC ENTERPRISE LTD. was found
in 1989, it is the brainchild of Miss Tomina Leung, who has
an unwavering passion to the unique art form of pottery. As
a result of extensive travel in China, she felt that Chinese
pottery was constrained by tradition, too conservative and
lack imagination and the general standard has declined significantly
over the past few decades. It is her goal to create and apply
innovative concepts to the art and to produce a range of quality
pottery that is comparable to those from Europe and Japan,
and to bring back the time-honoured traditional skill to its
former glory.
All the design and research work of
the various CHINARAMIC collections are carried out in the Hong
Kong Office under the direction of Miss Leung, while production
is in the CHINARAMIC factory in China. Strict quality control
is applied over all the products, particular attention is
paid to both modelling and glaze colour aimed at making each
piece a perfect decorative item for the modern interior and
enrich the art of pottery itself.
After years of great endeavour, numerous
praises have been bestowed upon the products of CHINARAMIC
from different sources, and the highly acclaimed collectible
series "NOBLE LADY" had received the prestigious
"HUNDRED BLOSSOM AWARD" in the Chinese National
Arts and Craft Competition.
CHINARAMIC products are being categorized into three different collections:
1. COLLECTIBLES:
This is our exclusive range, where attention to even the smallest details is given to each piece.
They are produced in limited editions of 500 to 2500 pieces per design.
Each figurine has a serial number, and is issued with a Certificate of Authentication.
2. ART COLLECTION:
All items in this category are handcrafted. Our new series is based on Folk Stories in Chinese History.
3. FUN & GIFT COLLECTION:
This is a series of charming priced artpiece to meet a wider market designs.
Its high quality workmanship is comparable to those produced in Spain and Japan
yet CHINARAMIC has made art of this kind more affordable.
